Why no published price?
A buyer engagement is not a seat count. It is scoped to the organisation, procured under your own rules and billed the way your finance team can actually pay, so a single self-serve number would be misleading rather than transparent.
We publish supplier pricing precisely because that side can be published honestly. Where it cannot, we say so instead of guessing.

Bids are not metered, which is why that row reads unlimited on every plan. The meter is AI credits, and the number each plan includes is the row below it.
AI credits
How AI usage is counted.
One credit is one AI generation, such as a drafted tender answer or a delivery evidence summary. Everything we calculate rather than generate, including PPN 002 social value arithmetic, scoring and exports, is never charged and never capped.

These are the numbers the platform enforces. Bids, contracts, seats within your plan, exports and every deterministic calculation are not metered against them. Re-drafting the same answer is free for the first three re-drafts each month; the fourth costs one credit. A generation that fails is not charged.
If you need more credits than your plan includes
Your monthly allowance is spent first, then any top-up credits you have bought. When both are gone, AI generation is refused for the rest of the calendar month rather than carrying on and billing you for it, so nothing is charged automatically at that point. Two things restore it.

Top-ups are a one-off purchase and they never expire, so a pack bought in March is still there in June. They are used only after the month's included allowance is spent. The included allowance itself resets at the start of each calendar month and does not roll over.
The other route is pay-as-you-go overage, which we switch on for your organisation when you ask. With it on, generation continues past the allowance and every further credit is billed at £0.10 on your next invoice, at the same unit rate as a top-up. It stays off until you ask for it, so until then your plan price is the most CrowMark can charge you.
Reading a tender document is charged by page
Uploading a tender document and extracting its requirements costs 3 credits per 10 pages, rounded up. A 10-page invitation to tender costs 3 credits. Here is what counts as a page:

Why spreadsheets are counted by rows, not by sheets
A sheet is not a page. A 5,000-row pricing schedule sitting on a single Excel sheet holds roughly 17 times the text of a 10-page PDF, and the AI work scales with how much text there is to read. Counting that as one page would charge the same for 17 times the work, so we count 50 rows as one page instead. CSV files are counted exactly like Excel files. We only count the rows we actually read, a sheet we read is never counted as nothing, and a generation that fails is not charged at all.

Is there a free plan?
CrowMark is a paid product and there is no free plan. A 14-day evaluation trial is available on request, and you can run the free Tender Compliance Matrix at any time with no account. Access is offered by request rather than self-serve signup. A card is required to start; it is held securely by Stripe and we never store it.

How does the 14-day trial work?
Ask for one and we set it up. It runs for 14 days at the Starter feature set for 1 user, so the Pro surfaces, meaning delivery tracking, monthly social value reports and the section 52 and section 71 checks, are not included. A card is required to start it, held securely by Stripe and never stored by us, but nothing is charged during the trial. When the 14 days end, access stops unless you take a plan, and your data is retained.

How do I get access?
Book a demo. We walk through how you bid, agree the plan and the number of seats that fit it, and set the account up for you. There is no self-serve signup. Setting the account up needs a card, held securely by Stripe and never stored by us, and nothing is charged until you have agreed a plan.

Are there any hidden setup fees?
No. There are no setup fees, implementation charges or training costs on Starter or Pro. A scoped Portfolio rollout may carry a one-off integration fee, and we tell you the figure before you sign. The only charges beyond your plan are ones you choose: a credit top-up, or pay-as-you-go overage at £0.10 a credit if you ask us to switch it on.

Can I switch plans mid-cycle?
Yes. You can upgrade, downgrade or cancel at any time from the billing dashboard, and changes are pro-rated and applied immediately. One limit is enforced rather than advisory: if you have already used more AI credits this month than the plan you are moving down to includes, the downgrade is held until your credits reset.

Do you price for large organisations?
Yes. Portfolio is scoped to your organisation and quoted rather than listed, built around the seats and volume you need. Contact sales for licensing across large supplier networks or multi-entity corporate groups. Single sign-on via SAML 2.0, with SCIM user provisioning, is configured per organisation, so tell us your identity provider and we will confirm the setup.

A spreadsheet is counted by rows rather than by sheets: 50 rows count as one page, so a 5,000-row pricing schedule on a single sheet counts as 100 pages, or 30 credits. Everything we calculate rather than generate is never charged and never capped, and a generation that fails is not charged.

What payment methods do you accept?
We accept all major credit and debit cards via Stripe. On annual Portfolio plans we can also take payment by invoice and BACS transfer, on request to our finance team.
